State Data Bonanza on just launched its brand new, redesigned State of the States interactive. It is better than ever and is now mobile friendly! This fun and easy-to-use interactive is chock-full of data on Americans' political views, economic attitudes, health and wellbeing, and religiosity.

Here are all the cool features:
  • Access data by state from 2008 through 2012
  • View data by metric, state, or see all data
  • Sort across states
  • Map how each metric breaks out across states
  • Export any or all of this data
For all our journalist and data geek friends out there, we encourage you to check the new interactive out and use the data to do your own unique analysis or story. For inspiration, check out what the folks over at 24/7 Wall St. did. They took a look at Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index data by state and analyzed it along with life expectancy, household income, and education levels to uncover some very interesting insights.

And be sure to let us know what you find or reach out if you have any questions. There is a wealth of data in the interactive, which means endless possibilities for analysis. So dig in and have fun.
